Recommendation Saturday: What To Do When The World’s Got You Grumpy

Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. – 1 John 3:18

It feels like this season, most especially, has been filled with so much conflict. It swirls around, then plunges deep, trying to take root in our hearts where only Jesus should be. The enemy is sly and cunning that way.

There’s only one thing to do when the world’s got you grumpy.

By loving on others, you can forget your own woes for a time. It can be as simple as a hug or a smile of a little note of caring. It can be as elaborate as a prepared meal, an errand run, or a special surprise. Step outside yourself today, and show others the love that the Father has lavished upon you. It’ll chase away the grumblies, I promise!
