Seek First Project: Keep Right On Going (Day 42)

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. - Hebrews 11:27

I've written before about the amazing things that happen when we just keep going. And here God is, reminding me again.

Moses, despite the possible repercussions, obeyed God's will for him. He kept right on going.

Because he kept his eyes on the One who is invisible.

It may seem like you're spinning your wheels, like none of this is making any sense or headway. It probably feels like you just don't know how to go on this way.

But keep right on going. Keep your eyes on the One who is invisible. And one day, you'll step right into His arms.

Today, I chose one mundane task that I've been putting off. I've been so overwhelmed lately, that I let the day-to-day tasks just go undone. It all feels like too much. I chose a normal task today and I did it. The whole time, I was praying and humming hymns, dedicating my teeny bit of work to God.

I think of it as an ebeneezer to Him. This marks the place where I get back up and take that next step.

Where I keep right on going.

Invisible One, we want nothing more than Your will in our lives. Give us the courage and the strength to get back on our feet and take that small step forward. Lead us. In Your Name We Pray, Amen...
