Are You Overdue to Not Overdo?

“Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land” (Proverbs 25:25).

It seems that what this season has been reduced to is busyness, to the point of collapse. Spending, to the point of being broke. And comparison, to the point of cruelty.

God has been reminding me more and more lately that these holidays are actually Holy Days.

Don’t delay any longer. You are overdue to not overdo.

You are cordially invited  to join us at Rest Ministries.
Careful, it’s easy to find a home there. <3

  1. Thank you Shelly for reminding us!! This year I see clearly the peace in just resting and living in the Christmas miracle.

  2. I shared your comforting words on Facebook via the Rest Ministries site, along with this sentiment:

“I wrote “Only 10 Days ’til Christmas” in Renee’s lunch note this morning… and promptly broke out in a sweat and began to panic 😮
This was perfect for me to read today!
    Happy “Holy Days” <3"

    Thank you so much, Shelly.
