Does God See The Real Needs of Those with Chronic Illness?
“Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. And all people will see God’s salvation” (Luke 3:5-6).We know that He is able to make our path straight . . . the path to Him. Beautiful imagery.
God and I were having a little chat the other day and He brought this verse to my mind.
Determined to hold onto my pout just a little bit longer, I explained to Him, tongue firmly in cheek, “Father, not that I don’t appreciate the straightening part, but me and this chair. . . me and this old body . . . we need handicap accessible!”
I’m writing over at my second home, Rest Ministries.
Hope you’ll join us! <3
