Have you no respect for me?
Why don’t you tremble in my presence?
I, the Lord, define the ocean’s sandy shoreline
as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross.
The waves may toss and roar,
but they can never pass the boundaries I set.
– Jeremiah 5:22
He set the boundaries of this tide, of this earth, of this universe. The boundaries of the universe.
Is your mind boggled yet?
Do you not think the God capable of such things, the God who is capable of creating orchids, puppy breath, and opposable thumbs, cannot handle what you are struggling with?
Do you really think that?
If so, I challenge you to rethink your logic.
If not, it’s time to remember.
It’s time for all of us to hand it over in trust. Doesn’t matter what it is. Doesn’t matter who you are.
Only matters that He is the Great I AM.
It only matters that He cares about your details enough to die to ensure you could spend eternity
with Him.
Let it blow your mind for a moment.
Then let’s get on with the truth.

It is mind boggling isn’t it? Nothing is too big for my God. Yet, we still struggle with trusting Him fully. But I pray that in my moments of doubt that He is drawing me closer…reminding me again, to surrender whatever I’m struggling with to Him. To praise Him ALWAYS for He is good ALWAYS. Love you, friend.

I am in the book of Jeremiah right now! So moved by Jeremiah’s obedience to the Lord, no matter the nature of the request. And that He was so close to God that He could hear Him so clearly.

It’s a great book! Jeremiah wrote Lamentations as well, “His mercies are new every morning.” Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
My mind is boggled by God’s creation and the intricacies of it. I am in awe of something every day.

your post today reminded me of this Psalm in The Message: Psalm 36:5-6
God’s love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, his verdicts oceanic. Yet in his largeness nothing gets lost; Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks.
These words and yours have me signing How Great is Our God.
God Bless you Shelly with the gift of exhortation and encouragement !
Mary, I LOVE that!! Fits perfectly with today’s message, too, so THANK YOU for sharing that to encourage us all! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3

Shelly….”Only matters that He is the Great I AM.” My favorite line. How can we not lean on Him when we know who He is? The Great I AM! Humbling to my soul. Thank you for the reminder today and for the link up. Have a blessed week friend.
