We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
– 2 Corinthians 4:7
Bet you can’t watch this video without smiling.
Without laughing, giggling, shaking your head.
I’ve been thinking a lot about being bold in our happiness.
Contagious in our glee.
Will they know we are Christians?
I’ve been thinking about being Buttermilk.

Thanks for a good laugh Shelly ~!
I love a story from Japan that tells how cracks in pots are filled in with gold so that the more cracked a pot, the more valuable it becomes.
I love the idea that the more cracks there are in my earthen vessel, the more light can get out.
Love Mary.
Beautiful thoughts, Mary! Thank you for sharing here. Love you! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3

Oh, my! Buttermilk is certainly bold, isn’t he? We need to be careful not to knock others over with our exuberance, though, amen? Love the picture of the baby – such a happy fellow – no one can look at him and be sad! Thanks for the smiles this morning – have a blessed weekend!

Hi Shelly!
I’ve followed a *rabbit trail* over here from Janis Cox at Sunday Stillness. I’m pleased to come over for the party! And yes, I have laughed right out loud at Buttermilk! Oh, how fun. And I like the point that you made. I’ve often heard that phrase that “they will know we are Christians by our love.” But yes, really, in this rather discouraging world, our happiness and glee – our JOY – is what will set us apart, too. May we live in a way that prompts people to ask the reason for our hope!
GOD BLESS!
