So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. – 2 Corinthians 5:6-7
There’s a reason we walk by faith, and not by sight.
God knew how easily our eyes, and even our minds, could be fooled. And he knew that the enemy is a talented illusionist.
Next time you fear what you see, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and ask God to show you the same sights, viewed through faith.
You will be amazed.
