Recommendation Saturday: First Things First

determined photo

They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination. – Nehemiah 6:9

This little guy has so much he could teach us. I’ll just let you watch and glean from it whatever seems most appropriate for your life right now. May God Bless your weekend. <3

  1. Shelly, I laughed out loud at that dog but then I love golden retrievers. They have always seemed to have a way to enjoy life. My first response was that the poor thing lost his focus. The more I watched, I thought perhaps he truly had his focus – he enjoyed all that was provided along the way of the journey. This morning I realized, life can be hard but I so want to find joy in all the Lord sets out before me each day. I don’t want to miss it. And friend, thank you for sharing this video this morning to speak to my heart. Blessings!

  2. I too loved the Nehemiah passage and I smiled so much at the video. But really – you knew exactly what that dog wanted to do!.
    Blessings and thanks for hosting,
