A third time he asked him,
“Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time.
He said, “Lord, you know everything.
You know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep.” – John 21:17

This post brought back happy childhood memories…every year I had a pet lamb from the farm of cousins and every year the lamb was called Lucy [ lol ] I had pet lambs for my children too, and the funniest moment was when the lamb went to school with Simon [ then 5] for show and tell….and the children remarked that it felt like wool haha We were living in a big city then and most children had nothing to do with farm animals. i
How fun, Mary! I will name the lamb in the picture “Lucy”. 🙂 Love you! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
Shelly, I have so been thinking about sheep & shepherds & included a post on sheep in my Random Five today. So funny. I LOVED the video you included today. I truly do not know who is more precious – the lamb or the dog! May we be willing to hold the bottle. And willing to accept the bottle when we are in need. Blessings my friend!

I saw that post, Joanne, how neat! I love when the Spirit moves all of us in the same direction at the same time, and we see it at the end. Beautiful! Love you. Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
Love this, Shelly! I grew up on a small family farm in Vermont and if the sheep or goats gave birth too early in the spring we brought the babies in by the old cast iron stove and bottle feed them until they were strong enough to be out in the cold. Brought back some fun memories. Thanks!
