And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory – 1 Peter 1:7-9
Can people tell? I pray they can, I pray it every day. Every. Single. Day.
My body will not allow me to dance outwardly, but my spirit looks just like the woman in the video below. Just like her.
Truly.
Whatever your abilities, dance to the best of them. Show your inexpressible joy to the world every moment. Whether it’s with your smooth moves or your bright eyes, through your jumping or the lifting of your hands.
Come on, put your purse down so you can bust a move.

Keep dancing, my sister! 🙂
You, too, Lyli!! <3 Heart Hugs, Shelly
Beautiful post, my friend. Love the visual of what our spirits look like versus what our bodies might appear to be physically capable of. And what a cute video! 🙂 Been a long couple of days with medical challenges … long night with only a couple hours sleep…This post made me smile and brought a lightness to my spirit. I needed this. ♡ Thank you, my friend ♡
Claudia, you’ve been in my thoughts and prayers so much! I’m so sorry you’ve had a challenging week, and I’m SO, SO glad that this post brought you joy. Love you so much, sweet friend! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
Oh how I hope my JOY in Him is seen. This post has me smiling and wanting to keep up and dance. :)))
Happy Saturday, friend.
Much love,
Beth

Beth, it’s your one word, isn’t it? Love that! I didn’t even think of that when I create this post, but Yay! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
I have seen this video before but this morning it brought me special joy as yesterday I attend the wake of my 95 yr. old aunt whose desire it was to dance in heaven. She is surely doing that today! Thanks, Shelly.

Joanne, I’m so sorry for your loss. Isn’t it wonderful that God could assure you this morning that she’s dancing. Wow, I just love that. Will be praying for your family as they grieve her presence. She sounds like a very special lady. Hope I can share a dance with her in heaven one day! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
That was pure joy. You have me smiling and smiling and singing along at my computer. I have missed tap dance for 3 weeks – holidays and cold. So I will get up and dance – that was sure fun.
Many blessings,
Janis

Hi Shelly!
I just discovered you through Barbie at My Freshly Brewed Life.
Thank you for reminding me of this verse. I always pray to be a reflection of Jesus. But…how wonderful it is to be so filled with joy that his glory is made known….wow! Thanks for making me think about how people see me and HIM.
Wishing you a blessed and Extraordinary new week!

Shelly- I love this notion of our spirit dancing when we cannot. In worship I often visualise myself dancing with gay abandon in a meadow of wild-flowers, twirling about in utter JOY in the Presence of Jesus.
What a beautiful picture, Mary!! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
