For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. – 2 Corinthians 4:6-7
I’ve talked before about a recognizing the blackness as the perfect backdrop for God’s blessings.
I don’t know about you, but my days seem darker than ever lately and I know the battle is often intense around me.
And so, I’d like to offer you a resource I made for myself. You can download it and then print it. If you print multiple copies of the 3 pages that aren’t the title page, you can put it together as a journal. It leaves room for acknowledging the dark backdrop, as well as seeing the twinkling lights.
Here’s an example of what it looks like:
I pray this journal will help you Dear Ones, to both acknowledge the hard and to remember the blessings. They are there, in abundance. Let the stars remind you, as they remind me. I’m praying you through this, as I know you’re praying for me. <3 Heart Hugs
