Seek First Project: God’s Mighty Weapons – Our Faith (Day 104)

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. - 2 Corinthians 10:4

Sometimes, in the vice-like grip of anxiety, it's easy to doubt. It's simple to forget what can be accomplished by our great God.

He accomplishes mighty things through our faith.

And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. - Hebrews 11:32-34

All of this.

Through faith. What a weapon!

Today, get out your journals and write about the impossible situations you find yourself in this year. What lions need their mouths shut? What fires wait to be quenched? What escapes are you needing?

From weakness, He can make you strong. You can be mighty in war, putting armies to flight.

Through faith.

What a weapon.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. - 1 John 5:4

Dear Lord, thank You for the weapon that is our faith. We know You can, Lord. We know You care. In Jesus' Name, Amen...
