He curls up on the window seat
and soaks up the Son-light
He makes a meal of our fears
and sometimes squeezes in snacks of our weaknesses
He breathes in our pain
and exhales His mercy
He sleeps not at all
but enables our own rest
He stretches out and explores those empty places
chasing shadows and lighting candles
He throws open the doors
and sweeps out the cobwebs
He makes it a Home Sweet Home
with just His presence

Jesus, we can never thank You enough for the gift of grace in our lives. I give you all of me, as inept of a thanks as that seems. I stand amazed that little ole me is all You ever wanted. I love you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen…
