Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. – Psalm 43:5
Nothing replaces worship as a focus-finder on the most anxious of days. When worry threatens to overwhelm, when fears frighten, worship gives it all over to the One who can do amazing things with our mess.
The opposite of worry is worship.
With that in mind, it’s time to stop procrastinating and make those go-to play lists. If you have an MP3 player and want to use that, great! If you don’t, or prefer to have your playlists online and handy, then jump on YouTube and get to creating!
If you’re like me, you’ll lose a day or three and get very carried away. I made playlists on both my MP3 and on YouTube. My playlists include these categories:
*Instrumental
*Instrumental
*Audio Bible
*Praise
*Worship
*Worship
*For When I Am Afraid
*Victory Songs
*Victory Songs
*For Weary Days
*For Lonely Days
To start on YouTube, first create an account. If you already have a google account, you can easily log in with that ID. Next, go to your account from the left sidebar menu. Then, add new playlists and title them. Here is where you can choose to make the list public or secret. Finally, find your favorite songs. Just under where you can subscribe to the youtuber’s channel, you will see a “+Add to” button. Once you click this, choose the playlist to add to from the dropdown menu. Ta Da!! That’s all there is to it!
Happy creating! <3
Dear Lord, as we create our playlists to You today, we dedicate each song to Your Holy name. We put our hope in You. We will yet praise You, our Savior and our God. In Your name we pray, Amen…

Shelly – thanks for the directions to creating a YouTube playlist.
I’d not known about that although now as I read what you have shared, I do see playlist often on YouTube so they must be ones that someone has made “public’.
