“No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength” (Psalm 33:16).

Warrior.

I’ve seen that word used to describe people like us. People like me.

It always makes me want to stick my thumbs in my ears, waggle my fingers, and go, “pppppfffffftttttt!”

In order for me to fit this description, you have to change the definition.

  1. Thank you Shelly. I think we are all warriors! Chronic illness give us a new fight every day. Sometimes we win sometimes we lose but God is always with out through out the fight! Thanks for sharing!

    • Amen, Kelly! That is a beautiful truth! <3 I love you! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3

  2. Chronic, invisible health issues have made me more of a warrior than anyone, including myself until very recently, could see. I think it is most definitely true. Carry on, warrior. 😉

    • So happy to be on the field with warriors like yourself, Mariah! Heart Hugs, Shelly <3
