Recommendation Saturday: Lest We Forget

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. – Ephesians 6:10-13

Lest we forget that we are surrounded by the noise of battle….

Lest we not notice those around us
who fall victim to well-aimed arrows….

Lest we pretend not to see that the world around us
is falling to the enemy….

  2. What really spoke to me about your post today, Shelly, is the reminder that all of our strength comes from the Lord. What a wonderful promise in the truth that we can’t do it all, but we can find our strength in the One who can!

Thanks for hosting. Blessings to you and your!
